We are looking for a band and choir teacher to fill our Kindergarten-12th grade position.
Due to the forecasted incoming weather, conferences for this evening will be postponed. Conferences that were scheduled for tonight will be made up on Wednesday, November 13th. All after school activities and practices will end at 5pm tonight. The CJSHS Storm Shelter will be available for community use.
Math Relay Results!
Central's 11th & 12th grade classes attended the ESSDACK Career Expo in Hutchinson on Tuesday. The ESSDACK Career Expo allows students to explore post-secondary & career opportunities and support their Individual Plans of Study. Students met with business, public service, and college representatives to understand career and educational options following high school. Students had the chance to learn about the skills, knowledge, and education needed to be successful in different career fields as well as participate in “hands-on” learning activities (i.e. simulators, heavy equipment simulators, cosmetology, etc.).

Just a reminder, Blue & Gold will be ready for pick up from the Central Burden AG Shop Tomorrow Tuesday October 29th after school. Central FFA Members MUST pick up their orders as we don't have anywhere to store them.

Raider Athletic Update for October 28 - November 2.
The JH Cheerleaders traveled to Haysville West Middle School for the Sunflower Spirit Showcase. The girls came home with an excellence ribbon and trophy in the performance category. Good job Raiders!
Your Central Raider HS Boys Cross Country team is STATE BOUND after an amazing race at Bishop Caroll at Regionals today!! We are so proud of these athletes who have worked extremely hard this season to push each other and bring their best today! The Raiders finished up with 4 individual medalist in the top 15, the highest number of all teams. They are bringing home a 2nd place team plaque right behind Skyline!! Congratulations Kysen, James, Broc, Gunnar, Ty, Ethan, and Darren. Harlie ran a great race as well, ending her season finishing 20th.
Good luck to the HS Cross Country team as they travel to Bishop Carroll for Regional today! The girls will run at 10:00 am and the boys will run at 11:10 am!
Blue & Gold will be ready for pick up from the Central Burden AG Shop on Tuesday October 29th after school. Central FFA Members picking up Blue & Gold to deliver to their customers MUST pick up their orders on Tuesday.
The high school football team lost to a good West Elk team tonight in Howard.
Good luck to the HS FB team as they travel to West Elk for the final game in district play. Kick off is at 7:00 pm. If you are not able to attend the game it will be livestreamed on the the West Elk High School webpage.

The JH Awards Banquet is today at 3:15 pm in the CJSHS gym. We will be celebrating cross county, football, and volleyball seasons. The girls will also be hanging their SCBL league champion plaque.

The HS VB team finished their season today with 2 losses to a tough Little River and Wichita Independent squad. Good job this season girls!
Reminder- Tomorrow- Wednesday, October 23rd- Late Start for ALL students. School provided transportation will run approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes later to pick up locations. No preschool 3 year old class.
These junior high students have been working hard on their projects in the wood shop!! Great job students and Mr. Whitehill!!
