It has been a busy week in Wonderland with fun filled activities, games, and spirit themes. As we wrap up our Homecoming week, CJSHS is proud to present our Winter 2026 Candidates and Court Members. Senior Candidates are as follows: Jessica Bell & James Braun, Kimberlie Brogan & Gunnar Parsons, Libby Cannon & Bo Wright, and Jessie McClung & Ty Henderson. Homecoming court members are Kindergarten Prince and Princess Darrel Bailey & Riley Treadwell, Freshmen- Hollie McAlister & Ethan Ferguson, Sophomores- Brylee Schooley & Kaden Underwood and Juniors- Abigail Estes & Eli Littrell. Photo Credit: 📷 Alysa Mendoza Winter Homecoming Coronation is tomorrow, February 6th @ 5:30 PM in the HS Gym. Come out to watch the Central Raider HS Basketball teams take on Udall. The HS Homecoming dance will be Saturday evening at CJSHS from 7-10 PM.

Our 7th students tested the Ogallala board game with staff and educators from the Kansas Geological Survey. They enjoyed the highly competitive game, and the school received three sets of the board game. The perfect way to end their recent lessons in Kansas History. HS Home Wrestling Duels went 3-1 tonight vs. Oxford. Great job Raiders and thank you to those that came out to support the team.

The HS WR team will HOST Oxford tonight for a dual! Come out and watch the kids wrestling and get a bite to eat from the concession stand.

The HS BB team swept West Elk. The kids played hard and won the JV boys, varsity girls, and varsity boys. We even got to have some fun, at halftime of the boys game, and see how many donuts our softball team could eat. If you missed out on the fun last night, make sure to come out on Friday for Homecoming. Games tip off at 4:00 pm with JV girls and boys and coronation will be at 5:30 pm. It is a great day to be a Raider!

The HS BB team play TONIGHT at HOME against West Elk! Games will start at 4:30 pm with JV boys, followed by the Varsity girls and boys.

The JH SCBL BB tournament bracket is out! South Haven is the host of the tournament this year!

The boys are the 2 seed in the east division. They will play on Saturday at South Haven. The game is set to tip off at 12:45 pm against South Haven.

The girls are the 1 seed in the east division. They will play on Saturday at South Haven. The game is set to tip off following the boys at 2:00 pm against the winner of the Oxford/Argonia game.

Last Thursday, Students from Mr. Groene's Ag Mechanic's class traveled to Cowley College Tech facility for the (South Central Kansas Welding Showdown) The boys came away tied for First place as a team, out of 15 teams. Hunter Henderson received 7th and Kaden Underwood received 8th place individually. Good job Guys!

The JH BB teams hosted CVD in their last regular season game of the year. There were lots of games. The A girls won and finish the regular season with a 12-0 record! The A boys lost a close one and finish the regular season 7-5. The SCBL tournament starts on Saturday at South Haven. The bracket I'll be posted tomorrow. Good luck Raiders!
