It was a Red Carpet night in NYC for our CHS Prom Attendees! Great job juniors on the planning and set up!
CHSHS Athletic/Activity update for next week.
PROM UPDATE: Due to the high probability of continued rain in the forecast right up until walk-in, we have made the tough decision to move the Prom Walk-In indoors.
6:00 p.m. - Prom attendees arrive at CJSHS. Meet in the library. We will get in order and load on school buses.
Please note: unfortunately, there will NOT be a parade of vehicles this year. If you have a cool vehicle you would like to have displayed, please have your family make arrangements to park it along the sidewalk in front of the elementary school prior to 6:30 p.m.
6:30 p.m. - Prom walk-in in the CES Gymnasium. The walk-in will take place indoors. See additional details below:
Elementary parking: Community patrons- please DO NOT park in the following locations- in the grass, or the north side of the gym along sidewalk (bus unloading zone by canopy), or along the sidewalk of the front entrance of the elementary school (unless a parade vehicle to park and show off). CES has a new gravel parking lot north of the school for additional parking.
Entrance: Community patrons- please enter through the north gymnasium doors (if arriving at 6:20 or after, enter through north east gym door without canopy) and sit in the gymnasium bleachers to watch walk-in. The bus will arrive at the north side of the gym and students will walk under a canopy to enter through the north west doors of the gym for their red carpet walk-in beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Prom will end at 10:00 p.m. Attendees will not be permitted to leave prior to 10:00 p.m.

PROM INFO - We are continuing to watch the radar and will determine by 4:00 if prom walk-in at 6:30 will go on as planned with the vehicle parade. If rain is still predicted, we will post a plan for indoor walk-in at the CES gym. Either way, students- plan to be at CJSHS at 6:00.

Raider Update for April 28 - May 2.
We had a wonderful FFA banquet this evening. Thank you to the families and patrons that came to celebrate our FFA members and their accomplishments. We got to witness the induction of new officers and had a yummy dinner as well!! Great job Raiders, you've had a wonderful year.
We are finished with this year's state assessments! The fourth grade history assessment is unique in that their knowledge isn't assessed by a traditional test. Our students researched and presented information about a historical figure through their Living Wax Museum- Great job kids!
It was a great day for a track meet at Udall. Lots of medals and PR's set!Good job Raiders!
We had a visit from a fellow Leader in Me school today! Thank you students and staff from Neodesha Jr/Sr High for sharing the day with our student lighthouse team! Students enjoyed tours of the school, discussing student led practices, and sharing ideas for future goals!
The BsB/SB games against Eureka have been CANCELLED for today.
JH track is on their way to Udall and the meet will go on as scheduled. Field events at 1:30 pm and running events at 2:45 pm.
The BsB/SB teams will host Eureka today in their final home games of the year. First pitch is at 4:00 pm. Senior night will take place in between the games. Good luck Raiders!

We had a lovely National Honor Society Induction this evening at CJSHS. We celebrated the scholarship, service, leadership, and character of some of our top students. Congratulations to our new members - Luke, Tehyzon, and Gracelea!
