Congratulations to our Central Raider High School Boys Basketball team on their Sub-State Championship. They are heading to STATE this week and we couldn't be more proud of their hard work and dedication. We have a busy upcoming week in Raider Nation. All information that our families and students should need to know is listed in the document linked below. A couple important notes from the document:
- A Pep Bus will go to Colby for State on Wednesday and Saturday. 7th - 12th grade students can sign up on the office window. See information in the document below.
- SCHOOL WILL BE CANCELLED THURSDAY, MARCH 7, 2024 for all USD 462 Students (except YEC Business competition participants) - due to staff absences and State Basketball.

Raider Athletic/Activities Update for March 4 - 9.
STATE BOUND!!! Central Raider Boys Basketball team seals a Substate Championship this evening against the Norwich Eagles. State will take place in Colby. The boys will play on Wednesday. More info to come! Congratulations Raiders. We are proud of you!!!

The HS boys play at home tomorrow at 5:00 pm in the SubState finals against Norwich. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for students. The Booster Club will pay for all 7-12 grade students. Come out and cheer on the boys tomorrow!
Saturday Student Section Theme is GROOVY - Our boys are in the groove. Come out and cheer them on! All 7th-12th grade student admission fees will be paid by the Booster Club. Thank you!!!

Central Raider HS Boys Basketball with a big win over Central Christian Academy this evening. Raiders advance to the next round for the sub-state championship game on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at CJSHS.

CJSHS Spirit Theme for Thursday evening's game is College Night - wear your favoirte college gear!
The HS Boys BB team will play tomorrow at home against Wichita Central Christian Academy. Tip off is at 7:30 pm. This is a postseason event and everyone will be charged admission. Adults are $8 and students (K-12) are $6. The Central Booster Club will cover the admission charge for all 6th - 12th grade students that attend. There will not be a livestream. Good luck boys!
The Chase County JH wrestling tournament has been moved to Friday starting at 3:00 pm. Bus will leave at 12:15 pm.
With tomorrow being the late start incentive day there will not be a zero hour weights session in the morning.
We are loving our RISE Clubs this semester at CJSHS. Highlights from today are from the gardening, dungeons & dragons, hair, and culture clubs!
Central's JH Scholars' Bowl are League Champs!!! Both the varsity and JV teams broke finals with varsity placing 1st and JV placing 4th!! Great job, young scholars. You make Raider Nation proud!!
Reminder to all CJSHS families - 3rd Quarter Late Start is on Wednesday, February 28th. Signed late start papers must be turned into the office tomorrow. All students received a paper stating if they qualified or not for the incentive. Please make sure your student returns the signed paper tomorrow. Thank you!
