
Last Week Spirit Week at CES!


Thank you to Mr. Groene and his students for saving our chicken run! After two chicken runs were delivered with the wrong pieces, Mr. Groene's class stepped up and was able to fabricate the parts to make it work! CES thanks you all!





Congratulations to Russ, Nocona, Jace, Bradan, Kaden, and Laine as they were all voted to the 2023 All League BsB team.


Good luck to the HS track team as they travel to Iola for Regional track. Field events will start at 3 pm and running events will start at 4:30 pm.


The baseball team's season comes to a close. The boys lost to Medicine Lodge 0-1 in 8 innings. Great season Raiders!

CES Spirit Week to Celebrate the Last Week of School!


Join us as we honor the Class of 2023 on Saturday, May 20th at 10:00 a.m.


Congratulations to Emily Long (1st Team), Maddie Brogran (Honorable Mention), and Paislee Hartman (Honorable Mention)! All of these girls made the all league softball team.


It was a beautiful evening as we honored our 2023 graduates with a Baccalaureate ceremony at the Atlanta Cornerstone Christian Church. Thank you to the local community members and patrons that organized the evening!





Good luck to the baseball team tomorrow, May 18. The boys will play at home against Medicine Lodge in the Regional semi finals at 4:00 pm. KSHSAA admission to the event is $8 for adults and $6 for students.


Dr Brad & Doug Swanson will be at CJSHS tomorrow at 5:30 pm to give physicals for next school year. Cost is $15. (Please make checks out to Dr. Swanson.)

Grant Hervey finished his Gun Cabinet in Mr. Whitehill's Woods Class. Cabinet looks great Grant.



Senior Spotlight: Hannah Veale
Hannah plans to attend Crave Beauty Academy in Wichita, KS to become an Esthetician.


Today, members of The Strike Club went on a field trip to celebrate their year of hard work. They played at Top Golf and then got to take a tour of the Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport, where we also got a behind the scenes tour of the fire and police side of the airport. The students had a great time and represented Central well!
