Congratulations to the HS VB team. These girls received the AVCA Team Academic Award. To receive this reward, the girls must maintain a 3.3 GPA or higher for the entire school year. Good job girls on your excellence in the classroom.

Fall Youth Volleyball is right around the corner and it is time to get your daughter signed up. This is open to girls grades 3rd - 5th. If we can get 6 - 7 girls, Central can have their own team. Grade divisions are 3rd - 4th and 5th grade. Practices will be at CES and games will be at Winfield or Wellington.
You may register online or drop your form off by the Winfield Rec Center. Please let Missy Atkins (matkins@usd462.org) if you are signing your daughter up and would like to be on the Central team. Registration is due July 25. Please reach out if you have any questions.

We currently have an opening for a HS/JH Cheer Assistant supplemental position. Johnna Atwood will be the head coach of all HS and JH cheer teams this coming school year. She is looking for an assistant that would occasionally be able to cover away games or practices, cover games if both JH/HS are at the same time, and help with the organization of uniforms and overall student success. June 27 is our last day for summer weights before the KSHSAA moratorium (July 1-5). We will celebrate Independence Day with a themed lift. Your athlete can wear their favorite Independence Day outfit appropriate for lifting in! After tomorrow we will pick back up July 8th!
