The HS VB team played at Bluestem tonight. The JV won a close match and the varsity lost a close match. The girls don't have much time to rest, as they will turn around and play at Douglass on Thursday at 5 pm.

Due to construction, the HS VB game has been moved to the elementary school. It will not be streamed on Hudl tonight.

Good luck to the HS VB team as they travel to Bluestem today. Games start at 5:00 pm with the JV followed by the Varsity. If you are not able to make it to the game, it will be livestreamed on the Bluestem Hudl TV page.

It was a great day at the Atlanta Day Parade. Central was represented well.

Raider Athletic Update for September 1 - 6.

The HS VB team went 4-2 today at the Peabody Invitational. The girls started off the day with a loss to Chase County, but then came back and won 4 in a row against Wichita West, Hartford, Wichita Classical, and Peabody. The girls lost a heartbreaker to Solomon, 23-25 and 26-28. The girls are back in action on Tuesday at Bluestem. Good job Raiders!

This morning the Burden Method Church men's group and Ryan and Amber Groene served the football program breakfast. A tradition started last year focusing on camaraderie, community and fellowship. Thank you all for supporting Raider Football!

This week our 4th-6th graders started in their RISE groups where every morning we start our day contributing to our school in a variety of ways. Our library group helped second graders choose books to take home as well as cover and shelve books for the next group to enjoy!

The HS football team will be hosting a football jamboree with St. Paul, Marmaton Valley, and Northeast this Friday night at 6:00 pm. There is not admission but we will be doing a sports drink drive for the teams to use throughout the season.
