CJSHS hosted its annual College & Career Fair this morning!! Several businesses and post-secondary institutions were in attendance to share their knowledge with our students!! It was a great day to be a Raider!
Please excuse our mess! CJSHS Courtyard Renovations are underway!! 7th - 12th grade students and staff worked on the first stage of the project this morning along with other service projects around the school, elementary, and community! We are excited to see this long awaited project get underway to beautify our entrance area. It will be completed in multiple stages with much of the work being accomplished by CJSHS students and staff!
Our Raider Boosters worked hard to kick homecoming off with a BANG!! Thank you to them, the Fire Department, and Rodeo Association for providing such a fun Raider Rally for our students. We had a great turn out!

The High School Cross Country Students Had A Great Race today at the Rim Rock Farm Classic (HS) in Lawrence. This is a tough course where students compete with students from across our state and other states. Way to represent today Raiders!!

3rd - 5th grade volleyball played at Wellington today. They didn't come away with any game wins but are learning more and improving each week!!
HS Raider Volleyball played at home today in their annual invitational tournament. Although they weren't able to advance to the championship round they did have a great win against Sedan in 3 sets!
Due to our limited availability we have decided to cancel our 9-30 JV game against Oxford. As of right now we are still planning on playing Udall’s JV Oct 7 and this will be the conclusion of our JV season.

Stop by the HS storm shelter today during the HS Volleyball tournament to get your fix of freeze dried candy and cotton candy! Proceeds from the fundraiser go to the HS Volleyball team.

This week Ryan and Amber Groene helped feed the football program this morning at the Methodist church. Also Terry and Melody's Daylight Donuts shop provided us with 5 dozen donuts. We are so grateful for the support from our local families and businesses!

USD 462 was excited to welcome Dr. Randy Watson to our schools today! These student lighthouse members spoke to the Kansas Commissioner of Education about the amazing things we are doing district wide in Raider Nation. We are proud of the enthusiasm and pride they showed as they held candid conversation with a very important individual within our state's educational system!
